SOFTWARE ENGINEER INTERNSHIP IN VALENCIA SPAIN

REQUIREMENTS: Experience as a Software Engineer or similar role;
Experience with flight control systems and specific autopilots, QGroundControl, Ardupilot flight stack, Dronecode SDK, MAVLink, low level communication (UART, SPI, CAN, I2C);
Experience in Linux-based development;
Desired experience with real-time embedded systems, system identification, state estimation and control of UAVs, as well as high-speed communication protocols;
Hands-on experience in flight testing, UAV software, electronics and robotics systems
Knowledge of coding languages ( C/C++, Java, Python), frameworks (Qt) and version control systems (Git);
Knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS) and Gazebo environment.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Experience with flight control systems and specific autopilots, QGroundControl, Ardupilot flight stack, Dronecode SDK, MAVLink, low level communication (UART, SPI, CAN, I2C);

TASKS:
  • Conducting testing and installing the program into production
  • Conducting user-acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately
  • Consulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge
  • Updating, repairing, modifying and developing existing software and generic applications
  • Identify and evaluate suitable technology solutions
  • Participate in brainstorming and conception process
  • Work in the software development processes, specifications and SW functionality development
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
