What should outfit I wear on my first day of internship?
Everybody has a moment of hesitation when it comes to choosing a good outfit for a first day at work, but don't panic because we are here to rescue you by giving some advice about an Intern outfit that you should listen to, young fellow. Thus, take a close attention to the following:
-
Try to wear new item clothes
Yes, according to a recent study developed in the United States regarding the impact of clothes on human psyche, clothes do play a major role in our day-to-day life and sometimes they do influence our mood. All in all, taking into consideration the specialists' opinions, when you start something completely new, it is better to "refresh" a bit ourselves. And how can we do this? Let's say that a little shopping didn't kill anybody :)
-
Try to dress just a little more professional
(No, pajamas are not professional)
Dear intern, you should never underestimate the importance of dressing professionally in your new job. Even though we all love casual clothes, you should try to dress more professionally because you never know when you’ll be called out to meet a top manager or key client. It happens, even if it's your first day. Therefore, black can be a happy color too :)
-
Wear your lucky chain (received on your birthday)
Yes, wear something that you consider as the fountain of your luck.
Just kidding :) It just happens that sometimes wearing a small item from the ones we love can make us feel more comfortable and familiar, and that just feels damn good. Thus, dear intern, it's time to wear the reindeer crochet pullover that your grandma gave you on Christmas. (Kidding again) I'm sure, though, that you've got the idea :)
OK, after these three major pieces of advice, don't ever forget: Attitude is Altitude.
